Spain’s Muhammad Babar stunned the cricket world by smashing back-to-back one-handed sixes during the ECI Spain-Czechia match between Spain and the Czech Republic. It all happened in the seventh over of Spain’s innings while chasing 118 runs.
With supreme confidence, Babar first tried to play a one-handed six against Czech Republic bowler Sagor Hossain. However, after being unable to connect, he went for it again and then hit it twice out of the park.
Spain went on to win the match with nine wickets as they easily chased the target.
Babar’s one-handed assault wasn’t just a flash in the pan. He cleared the boundary on five occasions, each hit more audacious than the last. His unorthodox technique, fueled by raw power and precise timing, left the Czech bowlers clueless, and the crowd erupted in cheers with each maximum.
Babar’s unique style of play has sparked debate among cricket fans and pundits. While some hail him as a maverick, praising his innovation and audacity, others question the sustainability and effectiveness of his technique in the long run.
