The UD Almería vs Real Madrid CF match, corresponding to the opening Matchday of LaLiga Santander, which will see the Rojiblancos competing in the highest tier of Spanish football, will be played on Sunday, 14 August, at 10pm (CEST) at the Power Horse Stadium, as from now on it will be called the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium that maintains in its ‘surname’ the event that motivated the construction of this sports venue.
LaLiga has announced the dates and times of the first two Matchdays of the competition. After hosting Real Madrid CF, reigning league and Europe Champions, UD Almería will visit Elche CF at the Martínez Valero Stadium. The official meeting has been set for Monday, 22 August at 8pm (CEST) so the Indalicos will have a long week between one game and another.
The same will not happen on the third Matchday in which UD Almeria will welcome Sevilla FC, an encounter that will be taking place on Saturday, 27 July (KO 10pm CEST) five days after visiting Elche CF.
