Over the past twelve months, it has been difficult to tell who the Canadian international would be plying his trade for in the 2024–25 campaign.
From Madrid’s perspective, a transfer this summer is definitely off the table, as confirmed by Carlo Ancelotti, who stated that the club’s transfer window “is closed” after their European Super Cup victory over Atalanta.
A move for the Canadian in 2025, however, is certainly a possibility.
Regardless, Bayern’s stance is clear: if Davies’ performances improve, they will offer him an improved deal financially; if they do not, then there is a high chance he will move to Madrid as a free agent next year.
