Larsa Pippen’s Mexican Look Triggers Michael Jordan’s Son to Switch to Spanish

Tiaras! Trains! Theatrics! The RHOM Reunion had it all. Larsa Pippen and her castmates went royal for the season 5 reunion special of ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’, a show that also counts Marcus Jordan among its recurring faces now. If turning heads on the show wasn’t enough, Pippen gave her 5.4 million Instagram followers a better look at her fashion for the night.

“Reunion look inspired by Mexico City,” she noted on Instagram alongside her black mermaid dress embellished with roses and had everything from sheer details to a voluminous cape. One of her backstage snaps featured host Andy Cohen looking dapper as usual and Pippen’s boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, a tad underwhelming in a t-shirt and jeans.

Larsa said on the show that she’s channeling “Queen” energy and her boyfriend Marcus knows it. Habitually, he was under her post commenting, “La bella reina” which translates to ‘The Beautiful Queen.’ It was aptly complemented with roses, a queen, and dazzling emojis.

The ensemble is a one-of-a-kind dress designed by Laura Rudovic, who wrote, “Super honored I got to design a one-of-a-kind gown for the beautiful @larsapippen 👑 @bravotv housewives reunion! We had a theme and this is the result!” She’d also comment, “Perfection ! She’s beautiful on the inside and out! #queen,” under Pippen’s post. Pippen’s cape, tiara, and drop earrings are also pieces from Rudovic’s New York boutique.

Pippen was staying on theme. The set was reminiscent of something straight out of ‘Coco’. The ladies drew inspiration from their wild trip to Mexico City for tonight’s glam styles.

Mexico is the star of the show!

The nine Housewives jetted off to sunny Mexico for their annual vacation, where Adriana de Moura performed at the city’s Pride event. Episode 15, picked up from their last escapade on February 7. The craziest part of the episode was a gondola ride that was more chaotic than rafting through a ravine.

Michael Jordan’s son stayed back in Miami while Larsa fixed a few friendships on this culturally rich trip. Pippen buried the hatchet with Lisa Hochstein and Guerdy Abraira separately and things seem better. But the fallouts were still discussed at the reunion.

Alexia Nepola deviated from the usual Real Housewives vacation itinerary to take the ladies to a church. Things got emotional, particularly for Abraira, who’s about to start chemotherapy for breast cancer. It resulted in a wholesome note when Larsa comforted her in the church. As emotional as it was, Larsa was the center of a heated game of Truth or Drink (a RHOM twist on Truth or Dare) where others confronted Pippen on other issues.

Whether friendships come out intact from this trip remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Marcus remains firm in the opinion that Larsa Pippen is a queen.
