Who is elegible for a DNI?
DNI cards are available for Spanish citizens aged 14 or over.
To secure yours, you must provide a Spanish passport or proof of nationality, a birth certificate, a passport photo, proof of address and a payment fee.
For foreigners living in Spain, the DNI functions in the same way as a TIE (third country national identity card).
