On September 11th, Zara announced some of the new features that would be introduced this year. Among these is the redesign of its stores to evolve into a more technologically advanced Zara. With this initiative, the company aims to enhance the customer experience by providing tools such as applications for reserving fitting rooms or automatic return points.

However, what has perhaps attracted the most attention is its investment in live shopping through Zara Streaming, which already has a launch date (September 25th) and high-profile guests.

What will Zara Streaming consist of

Zara Streaming will be a live shopping event where viewers can access and purchase items from the new collection in real time. It is worth noting that this is not the first time Zara has hosted an online event of this kind, although it is the first time it will take place in Spain. Previously, Zara launched its live shopping channel on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

On September 25th at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish time), everyone watching the live broadcast will be able to see the new collection being showcased and purchase the items in real time.

Zara Streaming will be directed by American film director David Lowery and will feature the presence of two fashion icons: Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber.

The special collection that Zara customers will have access to during the broadcast is described as “a selection of versatile pieces to complete the fall wardrobe” and has been designed by French stylist Carlyne Cerf de Duzeele.
