THE World Travel Awards have just bestowed the honour of the Best All Inclusive category on a Spanish establishment – and it’s not on the Costa del Sol.
Considered the ‘Oscars of tourism’, the prizes recognise excellence within the sector.
This year they have chosen the Hotel Barcelo Isla Canela as the winner of the All Inclusive award.
The establishment, located in Huelva, southwestern Spain, finds its home in the Ayamonte municipality, and it is considered to be one of the jewels in the crown of the tourism sector in the Andalusia region.
Popular with models, influencers and celebrities, the hotel counts on four stars, a total of 349 rooms, and beautiful gardens.
As you would expect, there is a large outdoor pool, as well as padel tennis courts, regular tennis courts, a golf course and a spa.
And, being all-inclusive, there are three excellent meals a day on offer for guests.
As if that wasn’t enough already, visitors can also enjoy the amazing beaches in Huelva during their stay.
