The ‘Surprise Bundle Sale’ in Murcia’s Atalayas shopping centre runs until August 17

Imagine it: boxes upon boxes stacked high in front of the shop window, filled with lost or unclaimed Amazon packages just waiting for a new owner. This unique pop-up event, organised by Destock Colis, has transformed the shopping centre into a treasure hunt paradise.

But if you want to bag a bargain you’ll have to be quick, as the last day of this super sale is Saturday August 17, when the commercial centre will be open from 10am until 10pm.

The rules are simple but add to the excitement: you can pick any package you want, but you can’t open it until you’ve bought it. Prices are based on weight, just 1.50 euros for every 100 grams or 15 euros per kilo.

So, whether you’re picking a light box or going for the heftiest one you can find, the risk and the thrill are all part of the fun.

Shoppers are peering through the glass, shaking boxes and reaching for those hidden gems buried deep in the piles. There’s a long line forming behind the scales where eager customers are waiting to weigh their mystery buys.

“It’s like playing the lottery,” one customer laughed as he cradled at least two kilos of mystery packages in his arms. He’d been passing by with his wife and daughter when curiosity got the better of him.

Now, they’re all hoping for a jackpot find, like maybe an iPhone or something equally exciting.

With plenty of smiling customers, there’s a surprise around every corner in Murcia this weekend.
