With Marc Antony and Maluma taking center stage at the 10th edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival, and other traditionally non-Latin events, it’s clear that Latin music’s influence continues to expand rapidly.
We see more eclectic lineups headlined by Latin and Anglo artists, such as Global Citizen Festival in New York, with performances by Post Malone, Doja Cat, Rauw, Jelly Roll, Chris Martin, Hugh Jackman and many more. At the Milano Latin Festival, which is held for more than two months in the Italian city, the musical cycle includes diverse and multi-generational artists such as Farruko, Christian Nodal, Maria Becerra, Juan Luis Guerra, Grupo Niche, Pimpinela, Olga Tañón among others.
There is also the Nuestros Sonidos festival at Carnegie Hall in New York, which is a series of concerts that will last for more than six months starting in October; and will feature performances by Ivy Queen, Grupo Niche, Monsieur Periné, Natalia Lafourcade, Quetzal, Cimafunk and more

Milano Latin Festival
Date: June 1 – August 15
Place: Milano, Italy
Milano Latin Festival makes a big splash with big names. The Italian music series, lasting more than two months (June 1 to August 15), has confirmed stars such as Farruko, Christian Nodal, Maria Becerra, Juan Luis Guerra, Grupo Niche, Pimpinela, Olga Tañón and more. Its magnitude, duration and number of renowned Latin artists make this festival one to keep in mind.

Baja Beach Fest
Date: Aug. 9-11
Place: Rosarito, México
Now billed as “the reggaetón and Latin music festival,” BBF welcomes back Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro to its stage as a headliner for his Friday, Aug. 9, performance; he last appeared in 2019. The excitement continues into Saturday with 2023’s breakout star Peso Pluma leading the charge as the night’s headliner. Sunday heralds the festival debut of Fuerza Regida, the trailblazers of the belikeada movement. Capping off the weekend, Colombian American artist Kali Uchis is set to deliver a special performance on Sunday. Also performing are Sech, Chencho Corleone, Becky G, Jhayco, Mora, Tiago PZK and more.

Ruidosa Fest
Date: August 10
Place: New York City
Ruidosa Fest, self-proclaimed as the first Latin American festival focusing on women in music, is poised to make its U.S. debut at New York City’s Lincoln Center on August 10. Founded in 2016 by Chilean singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela, Ruidosa Fest has evolved into a prominent platform that champions visibility and opportunities for “women who make noise.”
The festival’s lineup will feature a diverse array of talent, including Valenzuela herself, along with iconic Brazilian singer Bebel Gilberto, indie synth-pop duo Buscabulla, Puerto Rican singer-songwriter iLe, Colombian indie pop artist Salt Cathedral, Tijuana punk rocker Bruses, Venezuelan newcomer Nella, as well as Renée Goust + Khylie Rylo, Mireya Ramos, DJ Riobamba, and more.

Festival Hera HSBC
Date: August 24
Place: Mexico City, Mexico
Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Evanescence, Garbage, Danna Paola, Maria Becerra and Ximena Sariñana will headline the lineup for the first edition of Festival Hera HSBC, the first all-female music festival in Mexico.
The event, to be held on August 24 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, will also feature Tash Sultana, Yahritza y Su Esencia, Bomba Estéreo, Ely Guerra, Daniela Spalla, Francisca Valenzuela, Ladytron and many more. According to the organizers, the idea is to connect female bands and artists, feminist organizations and collectives.

Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival
Date: August 29 – 31
Place: Curaçao
The tenth edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival kicks off with performances by CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers and Leoni Torres on Thursday (Aug. 29). The festivities continue on Friday (Aug. 30) with performances from Juan Luis Guerra, Gladys Knight, Marc Anthony, Gregory Porter, Judith Hill, and Seal. The lineup on Saturday (Aug. 31) includes Eros Ramazzotti, Maluma, Lizz Wright, and Matteo Mancuso, with additional artists to be announced. The festival takes place in the island of Curaçao at the Piscadera Bay in Willemstad, Netherlands Antilles.

Festival Arre
Date: September 7-8
Place: Mexico City
Los Tigres del Norte, Xavi, Codiciado, Junior H, Gerardo Ortiz and Panter Bélico will headline the second edition of Festival Arre, the mega-festival in Mexico that celebrates regional Mexican music. This year it will be held on September 7 and 8 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in the Mexican capital. Joining the list of participating artists are El Fantasma, Bobby Pulido, Tito Doble P, Banda Cuisillos, Cardenales de Nuevo León, El Comander, Adriel Favela, Michelle Maciel, Joss Favela, Banda Recoditos, Los Invasores de Nuevo León, Jasiel Nuñez, Lalo Mora, K-Paz de la Sierra, Delilah, and more.

Festival Cordillera
Date: September 14-15
Place: Bogota, Colombia
“For all the migrants, the pachucos and frijoleros of the world. Today more together and Latin than ever. Long live our language and our Cordillera! ⛰️,” reads the caption on the fest’s Instagram. This festival unites several generations and genres of Latin music, such as Juan Luis Guerra, Fito Paez, Molotov, Vilma Palma e Vampiros, Rels B, Miranda! and more.

Global Citizen Festival
Date: September 28
Place: New York City
Global Citizen Festival returns to New York’s Central Park and will be headlined by Post Malone, Doja Cat, and Rauw Alejandro. Continuing to “unite to call on world and corporate leaders for urgent action to defeat poverty, defend the planet and demand equity,” like their website notes, festival-goers can also expect performances from Jelly Roll, Hugh Jackman, Chris Martin and more this fall.

Carnegie Hall’s Nuestros Sonidos
Date: October 8, 2024 – May 22, 2025
Place: New York City
Carnegie Hall’s Nuestros Sonidos festival, a seasons-long series of live Latin music, recently added Ivy Queen, Grupo Niche, and Monsieur Periné to its lineup, joining Natalia Lafourcade, Cimafunk, Gustavo Dudamel, Quetzal and more. The concert series — which kicks off Oct. 8 with the Opening Night Gala, featuring Gustavo Dudamel leading the Los Angeles Philharmonic and concludes with Cimafunk and La Tribu on May 22, 2025 — will see the three newly announced performers make their debut at the prestigious Manhattan venue.

Coca-Cola Flow Fest
Date: November 23-24
Place: Mexico City
Rauw Alejandro, Sebastián Yatra, Rels B, Arcángel, Becky G and Chencho Corleone headline the 2024 edition of the Coca-Cola Flow Fest, the biggest celebration in honor of reggaeton and urban music in Mexico. Scheduled for November 23 and 24 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, it also features several exponents of the so-called “reggaetón mexa” (or Mexican reggaetón) with figures such as El Bogueto, El Malilla and Michael G. As for Puerto Rican reggaetón representatives, there are names such as Jhayco, Tainy, Jay Wheeler and more.
