A 60-year-old French woman found stabbed to death in her motorhome next to a Castellon province beach was travelling alone.
Her body was discovered around noon on Thursday inside the vehicle on a car park in the Cap I Corp area of Alcossebre.
Other motorhome users said they never saw her with anybody else and the Government delegate for the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabe, confirmed that she was visiting Spain on her own.

“There are records of a previous stay in Tarragona in which she was also travelling alone in her motorhome,” Bernabe said.
The alarm was raised on Thursday by other campers who spotted the victim’s dogs wandering along the road.
One of them then hid under the motorhome and the other did not stop barking.
The Policia Local was called over concerns that a car could run over the dogs and when they entered the motorhome, they discover the French woman dead with her throat slit.
Reports suggested that she had been received multiple stab wounds.
Campers said she had been parked up since Tuesday and would got for swims in the sea.
Nobody heard any screams despite other vans using the car park, but there have been reports of sightings of an elderly man who also appeared in the area on Tuesday.
He was said to be walking ‘as if he were lost’ and wore a mask and had an oxygen cylinder with him.
No theories have been ruled out by the Guardia Civil including the possibility of the killer taking his or her life after the woman’s murder.
The motorhome- a crime scene- was towed away by the Guardia at around 7.30pm.
